About Jennifer Holder, MPub

 Communicating with aligned vision,

writing with vividness of voice,

editing so meaning comes through,

advising on ways to publish across the globe,

creating art and teaching others to enrich the world.

Jennifer fuels Full Bloom with her foremost passion: publishing books that move readers to laugh, cry, think, act, or change.

Since 2001, Jennifer has been writing and editing for book authors, literary agencies, publishing companies, online magazines, and communications & marketing departments. After studying English Literature at Bryn Mawr College, Jennifer transferred to Naropa University to engage a contemplative education and studied writing, literature, and psychology. She then cultivated professional skills in publishing with formal training at two leading graduate schools, Simon Fraser University and New York University, and earned a Master of Publishing degree in 2004. She then pursued international book industry experience in Vancouver, London, Dallas, and Manhattan. At Penguin Books UK, she navigated the fine art of acquiring and editing literary books that sell. As a literary agent at Dupree Miller & Associates, Jennifer was brought into the world of big-name publishing. Her acquisitions and editing work at Amacom Books brought the opportunity to work on a diverse nonfiction list. Working on contract for companies like The Synergy Company, Shambhala Mountain Center, and Tendril Press expanded her knowledge to embrace marketing, communications, and independent book publishing. Editing for Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals brought refined project management skills and experience with print magazines and newsletters. And as content manager for the online news magazine Shambhala Times, which she worked to launch and then led for over two years, Jennifer came to appreciate the power of niche community publishing.

In 2010, Jennifer couldn't resist a homecoming bugle and returned to Colorado where she is working full time to make her clients' publishing dreams into realities.
